Taking inspiration from American biker culture, British punk and with it's identity based on the street culture, Neighborhood are outsiders in the fashion industry in Japan as they never do typical collection shows and are very independent as a business. Before starting Neighborhood, Shinsuke Takizawa worked at Hiroshi Fujiwara's label Major Force, the first Japanese Hip-Hop label. After a while Shinsuke Takizawa got the opportunity of working with Major Force's merchandise making T-shirts and hoodies. This is what got Shinsuke into the clothing business and he decided to quit his job and start his brand Neighborhood. Today Neighborhood is one of the most respected brands around and we have been stocking NBHD for many years. The aesthetic of the brand is timeless, unique and unapologetic.
