As the producer, we carry the primary responsibility for the quality and durability of our garments, while you, as the consumer, play an important role in extending their lifespan through proper care. We design our garments to last, but how you care for them significantly impacts their longevity and condition.

Wash less
Only wash your garment when necessary. Frequent washing can cause wear and tear, so by washing less, you'll help your clothing stay looking great for longer. In many cases, simply airing out your garment can refresh it without the need for laundering.

Wash at a lower temperature
By lowering your washing temperature from 60 to 30 degrees, you can reduce energy use, and your clothes will still come out clean. The care label on your garment indicates the highest temperature that can be used without causing damage, but unless the clothing is heavily soiled, it can still be cleaned effectively at a lower temperature.

Less detergent
Using much detergent will not make your clothes cleaner. It can leave marks on your clothes if you use too much. Look for an eco-labelled detergent to further help the environment. Avoid fabric softeners.

Drying
For intricate pieces, opt for dry cleaning to maintain their details without the harsh effects of water. When drying at home, air drying gently allows your garments to dry naturally, preventing shrinkage and fading. Reshape your pieces while they’re still damp to maintain their elegant silhouette.

If you need to use a dryer for sturdier fabrics, a low heat, delicate cycle will do the trick. Just remember to check the care labels. For knitwear or items prone to stretching, flat drying is ideal. Lay them flat on a clean towel or drying rack, gently reshaping them to preserve their softness and structure.

Pilling
Pilling is common, especially in knitted garments made from natural fibres like merino and lambswool. It doesn't look right, but you can easily remove it by carefully using a fabric comb or pill remover. This will help extend the life of your garment.
