Based in the hot hot heat of Jakarta, Pleasure is the brainchild of 7 friends who want to create a medium for their love of anything great in a fun and unpretentious way.

Since the conception of their first party and fueled with a DIY dj booth and a giant disco-ball, they’ve been attracting massive audiences locally and abroad. They have been doing some serious damage on the dance floor alongside Kenji Takimi, Eric Duncan and Thomas Bullock of Rub n Tug, Junior Executive, Paul T of Sarcastic, Justin Van Der Volgen and other cool cats from around the globe.

In a nutshell, Pleasure presents a collective of local talents from music, art and fashion in Jakarta. They embody a loose take on what’s good around us whilst still acquiring your innermost geek side to flourish.

How soon is now? To spin a track, enter a DJ booth, illuminate a dance floor. There’s no joy in division, but in the way that music makes people come together. The undulating baselines, crisp emotion-laden vocals and synths transported from a distant sphere: we collude so we can praise the ambience, as we should. MUZAK is a place for fire starters—where hedonistic playlists are shared and oeuvres opened up like the emergent stages of a mosh pit.
