Created by Swiss type design studio Dinamo, the 'Different Times' T-shirt is - as Johannes and Fabian of Dinamo say themselves - a cheesy statement-shirt reminding us that "different times" ask for different actions. The shirt combines five different versions of the ubiquitous Times typeface: Times Ten, Times New Roman, Times LT, AT CG Times, and MT Times Bitmapped - all of which are more or less the same and therefore fail the shirt's own message. Dinamo has previously released several different editions of the T-shirt and on some occasions, the "template" was modified according to what was going on in the lives of Johannes and Fabian, or in the culture at large when published. Hence 'Difficult Times' followed Trump's election and 'Spiritual Times' the designers' short stay in Los Angeles. Entitled 'Various Times', Dinamo and Wood Wood have created an anniversary edition of the 'Different Times' T-shirt exclusively available in limited quantities at Wood Wood stores.
