The Muzak project is an on-going series of mixes created by a group of international friends of ours. All contributors have been asked to make a selection of tunes to be distributed on this site. We aim to bring music of great variety and to upload a new mix at least every month. Enjoy
LA native Andrew Hogge, also known as Lovefingers, is part of a unique and compelling scene, where a disco, house, techno and an "anything goes" mentality cosily co-habits. Lovefingers is not only the owner of an eclectic library, he is moreover a DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist and the creative head of his record label ESP Institute. From day one, ESP Institute releases have found their way into the bags of dance-floor heavy hitters from DJ Harvey, Andrew Weatherall and Dixon to Todd Terje, Laurent Garnier and David Mancuso.
Loverfingers has the luxury of being able to play his gigs at the worlds best club nights, warehouse parties, festivals and events, as well as make regular appearances on cult radio shows like Beats In Space and his own monthly show on Dublab.

For Muzak, Lovefingers has done a super chilled mix of LA stoner classics. The mix features lazy '70 bangers such as War's chanting 'Four Cornered Room', Visions' beautiful 'Brother To Brother', Don Cherry's jazzy 'Universal Mother' and 'The Third Eye' from Roy Ayers' Ubiquity masterpiece. Lean back and enjoy!
