The Muzak project is an on-going series of mixes created by a group of international friends of ours. All contributors have been asked to make a selection of tunes to be distributed on this site. We aim to bring music of great variety and to upload a new mix at least every month. Enjoy
Fyraftensboogie is one of Copenhagens longest running club nights and the self-proclaimed kings of the Ragga Disco. For more than 7 years they've held a residency at the Copenhagen venue Jolene playing a mix of disco, boogie, dance classics, dub plates and forgotten gems from around the world. The key word is big tunes.Fyraftensboogie (after-work boogie that is) is hosted by 2000F and JG. 2000F is CEO of the electronic music festival, Strøm, and also part of the OHIO! Crew that has been organizing parties and putting out music for years.
OHOI!s legendary RAW and Bas Under Buen parties have been voted Best Events of the year at several occasions and are crazy popular with their unique blend of UK Garage, jungle, drum'n'bass and more.Besides being one half of Fyraftensboogie, JG is also part of the infamous Firehouse Soundsystem, a Copenhagen based dancehall sound that has played a big part on the development of the dancehall scene in Denmark and the digital dancehall sound popular in recent years. Their Mastermind Computer Style mixes along with a serious dubplate box have brought the sound system to sessions from Öland to Osaka. Their mutual love for big tunes have brought 2000F and JG together and the Fyraftensboogie events allow them to dig into their gigantic record collections of amazing music from around the world. For Muzak Fyraftensboogie delivers one and half hour of certified dance classics, rare underground disco and dubplate specials.

Make sure to follow Fyraftensboogie on Facebook for future events and on Mixcloud for more mixes.
